Educational reform

I’ve heard this on the radio the other day.
The educational reform in this country is designed in a way as to prevent kids in the first three years of primary school to fail.
So if the kid is dumb as shit, or slow (there I said it, now what PC police?), the kid is still going to advance to the next class.

Why?

If the child has obvious difficulties comprehending how to read or write simple letters, has problems with addition and subtraction, guess what? Reading more, writing coherent sentences or multiplication and division will be an obstacle the kid won’t be able to overcome.

This idea was obviously pushed by the feel-good crowd. (Sadly not the good sounding Gorillaz one)
This is as not to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Not the kids’, not the parents’.

The trend of blaming failure on the teachers rather than lazy/stupid pupils/students is continuing and will worsen once fourth grade has been reached and the failure train will keep the kids on perpetual hold.

Progress! Bravo, you truly have achieved something.

I would not be surprised the least to learn that this idea came from a mommyblogger type of person, seeing children as special snowflakes in need of protection.
Guess what sunshine, seven billion special snowflakes are just annoying snowcover. Once on the ground, they mash together, becoming identical snow wherever you look.
Deal with it.

People, parents in particular, teach your fucking kids! This is not just the teachers’ job, but also your obligation. Put down the remote, turn off the TV or computer/tablet/smartphone.
Spend time with your kids, and rehash what they did at school. It’ll work wonders, feelings and just having fun, ain’t going to get them through life. We all have to do stuff we don’t like.
The sooner the children learn this the sooner things will improve.
Parents (feelings and fun portion):
Grow up.

Take care,
A.

Life ain’t that hard: School

It really is easy.

Get sent to school.
Survive.
Study and Graduate.
Have kids.
Send them to school.

You see here is the issue some of the parents out there are missing. They’re breaking the cycle.
They are homeschooling.
WHICH IS ONE OF THE DUMBEST THINGS I HAVE EVER HEARD OF!!

Mostly it’s these Antivaxxer Broccoli Milkshake hippie idiot parents who home school.
Listen you brain numb buffoons, would you take your car to have the brakes fixed to a guy who “really learned everything” from his dad, who has never know much about cars other than the fact that they have engines (or worse, draws a shamanic symbol on the wheels designed to invoke brake-spirits) or to someone who has a certificate and proper licence and education?

You would never take up advice from a stay home mum, who had only a basic education and training, on the intricate workings of your home’s plumbing, now would you?

Main motivation behind this homeschooling BS is the bullying that kids are exposed to at schools. There is a better solution than homeschooling. There is a better solution than teaching kids to stand up against bullies.
TEACH KIDS NOT TO BULLY!
There was a picture of a bully online recently, who had been caught bullying by hia dad. He then internet shamed his bullying son, and forced him to do social work. That’s the way! There you go.

Another big reason is “conformity”. These hippie dipahits fearing that their kids will be turned into braindead dummies for the system – forgetting that this exact system had shat them out too.
Conformity is an integral part of the human existence and experience. We are herd animals and want to be with the others, like the others. Besides, conformity in education guarantees identical chances later in life.

All this nonconformity garbage is only producing hippie-conform children. A truly nonconform child would be the unpredictable hellspawn we want to avoid our children becoming.

So again, let’s expand this:

Get sent to school.
Survive.
Study and Graduate.
Have kids.
Send them to school.
Teach them not to bully.
Let them be conform.

Have grandkids, enjoy.

Don’t eat shoes!

I have had enough!
SIMPLY and plainly ENOUGH!

If you are a Vegan and you keep quiet about it – good for you. You have my blessing.
If you are a Vegan and you keep soving it in everybody’s face – I wan’t to beat you with a hammer. You are just as annoying as these religous nuts who can’t shut up about god.
Hammertime!

No matter what kind of Vegan you are, there are a few Bullshit lines you can cross.
1. Bullshit line: Meat supplement. If you made the CONSCIOUS choice of eating only vegetables, an othing that was produced from animal (labour), there simply isn’t any meat. No burgers, no sausages, no nothing.
So if you are longing for a burger, you have to make the conscious choice to deny yourself the burger, and not fake it with a Tofu Burger. That is “I want to, but I can’t” and you need to stop. Either your will is strong enough to pull it through, or it isn’t. IF it isn’t, kill you conscience and pig out.
2. Bullshit line: If you are offended by the fact that Vegan Restaurants aren’t allowed to educate official cook apprentices. It’s simple, a cook apprentice needs to be ABLE to cook meat. It’s that simple. Therefore a Vegan restaurant can’t legally have an apprentice. Period. (Don’t get me started on “But Muslim/Jewish Cooks/Butchers don’t have to touch pork”. That’s different. Sort of, if you ask me, they should be forced to. YOU DON’T HAVE TO EAT THE PORK FRAKKERS! Just prepare my bacon, asshole!)
3. Bullshit line: This is the one that got me to write this post. DON’T EAT SHOES!
My wife stumbled upon an advert from Espirt: “Vegan Shoes” … I can’t even…what? YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT THEM! What about Croq’s? They’re plastic, and therefore, VEGAN! Wanna know how oil (the base for plastic) came to be? Plankton, saturated with water, became entrapped and over time and pressure became oil. Plankton = plants! So – VEGAN! Still, don’t eat shoes. It doesn’t matter whether they have the “PETA-Vegan approved” sign or not. DO NOT EAT SHOES!

So, again, if you’re a Vegan – good for you. Stay strong and eat your produce. Steer clear of meat, and animal products, don’t fake out with tofu burgers and stuff, and DON’T EAT SHOES!

Take care,
A.

Greenpeace

The folks trying to teach Russia not to drill for oil in the artic face up to 15 years in prison.

Good.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m all in favor of saving the environment, but idiocy needs to be punished. If all that (criminal) energy, the money they spent for their frakking ship (and the frakking fuel for said ship!) would be put to actually good use – like eliminating the NEED to drill for oil – that would be helpful.

Imagine that, stopping at the gas station, and tanking biofuel from Greenpeace in your car. Or hydrogen. Or electricity.
If Greenpeace would want to do somethong REALLY good, it needs to do the same the US Republicans need to do – GET RID OF YOUR CRACIES! The fanatical lunatics need to go. Muslims, Republicans, Greenpeace, EVERYONE: take your fanatical lunatics and show them out. Never let them back in.
Period.

Earthquakes

Two weeks and just as many earthquakes. I know for you westcoast US americans this is like vacation, but it is oddly often here. And the epicenter for both quakes was Ebreichsdorf. I hope they get a new hymn there: “AC/DC – Shook Me All Night Long” 😉

Political commentaries

I’ll leave those to better qualified people, hence I won’t tell you why I think that the rightwingers got so many votes in the recent election.

What I will do however is tell you what I think of parties gaining ground by claiming that education needs reform (again): Less than nothing.

First off: We just had a school reform deforming our educational system. It hasn’t taken full effect yet, so when a new idiot appears and rants about bad education and that a quarter of youths can’t read – I suspect he’s one of them.

Secondly: Schools ain’t the problem. Teachers ain’t either.
Parents are. Or rather, society is forcing the parents to become part of the problem. If we had more time for our families instead of working nine to five on five days of the week, we’d have better educational results. But instead we outsource raising our kids to so called professionals and the media.
Ain’t nothing to learn from these cretinous sources. Neither for life, nor for school.

So if you want to deform school yet again, start by reforming society, and always remember, our old systems in education gave us Freud, Einstein, Hawking, Darwin, Carlin, and a shit-zillion other geniuses. Don’t experiment with alternative crap that would make Waldorf think you’re nuts!
