Insane

At what point can we all agree that these people are fucking insane?

https://news.sky.com/story/man-69-who-identifies-as-20-years-younger-begins-legal-battle-to-change-age-11547764

I can understand homosexuals and their fight for equality.
I can, kinda, get behind trans gender, I even am willing to concede to a third gender.

But this?

Like those reality allergic cretins who believe they are not humans but something else (otherkin), there are the morons who believe in sixty genders (genderkin), and now there are idiots who think they are twenty years younger than they are (agekin?).

No, it isn’t ageism if we prohibit this change of birthdate in official documents. If we keep him from frauding potential mates or employers.

It is correct.

How would you feel, if your spouse was actually twenty years older than they are, thus, will die a lot sooner than you expect?
How would you think an employer would like it that an employee just dies?

He is seventy, not fifty.

With seventy he won’t be able to get those young broads he could get with fifty. (Unless of course he has a few million on the bank, then he night find the love of his life in a twenty year old blonde with big tits. And she’s going to spread her legs for him whenever he wants. Because she’s a whore.) The women don’t have to change.
He has to. He is the ageist. Not the rest of the world.

Take care, A.

Consumer protection done (almost) right…

As reaction to:
https://futurism.com/missouris-meat-law/

Missouri passed a law that prohibits the use of the term “meat” for anything that didn’t come from an animal.

Which is great!

If it isn’t meat, don’t call it meat!

If it is plums, you wouldn’t call it apples, now would you?
(Side rant: Why are these fucking cretins in the vegan crowd bitching and moaning about Trumps ‘Alternative Facts’, whilst living with alternative facts of their own? I don’t get it!)

It is that simple. idgf what you call it, but it is false labeling, more accurately, consumer fraud if you call Not-meat, meat.

It is this entire false labeling crap that must end:
It is soy juice, almond drink, grain water. Be honest.

It is NOT milk, nor is that other shit meat. Not even a convincing approximation.

You’re vegan? Good. Own that shit, and be honest about it to everyone, including yourself. Don’t pretend to be eating meat, if it is just crushed almonds, textured and colored in a way, that is a vague approximation.

Wash your almond-slab down with some Soy-juice.

But, as always, there is a catch, this decision also stinks of antiscienceism:
Labmeat IS meat.

May not have been alive recently (at least in the traditional terms) but it IS meat. Fear of GMOs and science in general is stinking through this otherwise intelligent decision.

Still.

A win for common sense.

A victory against consumer fraud.

Take care,

A.

PS: in my country there had been a huge scandal a few years back about “analogue cheese”, everyone and their aunt were up in arms over this. Today, they sell the same shit as Vegan cheese. It is NOT cheese, be honest.

We are not the onion.

There’s this reputable news site in my country, let’s equate them to the New York Times.

There’s this satire news site in my country, let’s equate them to the Onion.

We live in times where that NYT equivalent dishes out an article over Facebook, and feels the need to add “We are not the onion!” to it.

The first three or four times that had happened, it was funny “Hehe, they need to tell us that this shit ain’t satire, hehe…”.

It is still happening.

At least once a week.

In what perilously insane times have we ended up in, that news outlets (two different news outlets, I must say at this point) feel the need to warn their readers, that the linked to article is in fact NOT satire, but real?!

This isn’t the news outlets fault, they report on the news, they don’t make ‘em, unlike the satire sites. (Although, it must be referenced, that SNL gave fake Palin, for lack of a fake speech, just the real speech that Palin had held, so in essence, satire reported on the news…)

The true fault lies with us, the people. We have allowed the politicians to run amok, we have allowed corporations to dictate policy, we have granted frauds to spread their filth in public, we have permitted disinformation to be presented as fact, and it’s a downhill journey from here on out.

We are not the onion.

That will be the motto of this generation, and our obituary.

Take care,
